Our Enhanced Provision
We have a visiting French teacher who works with the children each week. The children gain confidence in speaking French very quickly and it is a wonderful to see the children sharing what they have been learning with their parents.
A dance teacher visits once a week and the children thoroughly enjoy these sessions.
We try to alternate the days of our visiting teachers each term so all children benefit from the experiences they offer.
We have our own dedicated Forest cabin with a special outdoor area which includes a fire pit. Children use this area regularly to experience the wonder of the outdoors, cook, make dens, make natural artwork and explore. We also have a small woodland to explore within a couple of minutes walk.
The children have regular outings to the field, park, library, local shops and the local area. We take part in community events such as the scarecrow trail and art trails.
We offer all types of funded sessions.
The funding pays for hours of attendance in the nursery. We charge for what is not included in the funding: enhanced provision (eg Forest School), meals and snacks and consumables including nappies, sunscreen, all craft supplies and resources.
We accept all types of childcare vouchers which help towards meeting the cost of nursery sessions.
