Our Local Offer
Every child is respected and treated as an individual to ensure their needs are met.
Our Nailsea nursery is situated in the heart of the Nailsea community. Our setting has a large outdoor environment with its own Forest Cabin and River. Our setting houses babies from 3 months to 5 years. Across our setting, all ages of children are able to freely explore the play spaces of their choosing, working collaboratively on projects and interests.
We are able to accommodate children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Our nursery is on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible between the 2 playrooms and the bathroom. However we have steps leading into the conservatory and to the rear garden. There are also steps into the forest cabin.
We have experience of working with children with a range of special educational and medical needs. We have experience in communication and interaction, physical and sensory impairment, behaviour and social and emotional development, learning and medical needs.
We have experience supporting children for whom English is not their first language. We will always celebrate and reflect the different cultures within our nursery.

Our Enhanced Provision
We have a visiting French teacher who works with the children each week. The children gain confidence in speaking French very quickly and it is a wonderful to see the children sharing what they have been learning with their parents.
We try to alternate the days of our visiting teachers each term so all children benefit from the experiences they offer.
We have our own dedicated Forest cabin with a special outdoor area which includes a fire pit. Children use this area regularly to experience the wonder of the outdoors, cook, make dens, make natural artwork and explore. We also have a small woodland to explore within a couple of minutes walk.
The children have regular outings to the field, park, library, local shops and the local area. We take part in community events such as the scarecrow trail and art trails.
Funding
We offer all types of funded sessions.
The funding pays for hours of attendance in the nursery. We charge for what is not included in the funding: enhanced provision (eg Forest School), meals and snacks and consumables including nappies, sunscreen, all craft supplies and resources.
Childcare Vouchers
We accept all types of childcare vouchers which help towards meeting the cost of nursery sessions.
